Vienna Schubert Trio at Symphony Space – The Vienna Schubert Trio’s Wednesday evening concert at the Symphony Space was first class. Throughout the evening, one felt the influence of many hours of reharsal, yet the playing was never merely learned. The musicians – Boris Kuschnir, violinist; Martin Hornstein, cellist, and Claus-Christian Schuster, pianist – know each other’s impulses and predilections, and interact with a fondness that trascends the professional.
